HAPPY NEW YEAR! we have an exiting year ahead for all Bustagroove dancers in 2012!
Lets start by thanking all students for their fantastic performances at Bustagroove’s annual Christmas show and thanking all parents and families for their support.
NEW YEAR FITNESS AND FUN (burn the calories in a fun way, DANCE!)
Yes! All Bustagroove classes have now returned and we have lots of new exiting choreo to teach and fun-filled Zumba classes to attend. Our street classes will be focusing on old skool Funk and nu style hip hop this term 
Our tap classes will be infused with a flavor of funk and new skool
We are running a 6 week trial of Teens Zumba classes at Redbridge School from 4th Jan, 6-7pm These classes are ONLY £1 A WEEK! (deal for the 6 weeks only) Classes are for ages 12-16 yrs
We have January deals on all our adult classes, check them out on our class page

Well done to all Bustagroove dancers for competing in the
South Coast street champs on the 4th December.
A big congrats to all that were placed in the semi’s and finals.

STREET DANCE EXAMS WITH BUSTAGROOVE

Bustagroove are now providing Street exams for all students with the international dance teachers association.
This means each student can progress in levels of street awards. Gaining medals and certificates.

BUSTAGROOVE AWARDED CLUB QUALITY MARK

Good news! Bustagroove have now been awarded the Southampton City Council Club Quality Mark.
This means Bustagroove has passed every aspect of providing a safe and professional dance school for people in the community.

SUMMER 2011 ACHIEVEMENTS

Well done to Unit Juniors, Unit Seniors and Bustagroove students for their fantastic success at the South coast Street Dance Championships where they won 7 trophies for 1st place (in the respective categories) and won a further 6 trophies in runner-up places!
We’re really proud of everyone who competed at the Street Dance championships.
Well done to all Bustagroove students for their fantastic performance at our summer showcase.
Well done to Contrast Dance company for their outstanding performance at the IndigO2.

Congratulations to Unit Performance crew for coming first place at the Dance for Life in Woking, onto the county finals now!!
Bustagroove is holding its summer showcase on the 18th, 19th & 20th July, its gonna be great!
New classes are starting at the fantastic Academy Dance Studios which have just opened in Romsey. All details are on the ‘classes’ page.
Contrast Dance will be guest performing at the IndigO2 in London on the 17th July – GOOD LUCK CONTRAST!

Huge congrats to Bustagrooves David Lloyd dance group for coming FIRST PLACE in the senior category in the first heat at Dance for Life this year They have now made it to The Hampshire Finals!!! These take place on 18th June. GOOD LUCK GIRLS!!!! We’re all routing for you!
Massive thanks to Dean Defreitas, one of Southampton’s original B-boys for leading one of our Breaking sessions and inspiring all of our new generation b-boy’s. Dean will be returning very soon! We’re hoping a few of his pals from Second to None (original UK southcoast b-boy crew) will be joining him to give us a little demo

Congratulations to Unit and Bustagroove Teens for their performance at The Point Theatre last week where they participated in Dance for Life.
Not only did they do a great job with their dance, they also won 2 certificates and raised £100 for The British Red Cross, Well Done to all involved!
Congratulations also to two of our Dance coaches: Cat Butler & Alahna Collins for passing their Associate Teachers exam, both walking away with Honours!
