Hayley Warman-Johnston

» Founder & creative director of Bustagroove
» Roles within the dance school: Urban dance specialist, choreographer for all Bustagroove classes & performances.
» Delivers Master classes, workshops. Classes & private classes for ages 4-adult.
» Delivers curriculum dance classes within primary & senior schools in and around Southampton & New Forest focussing on KS1, KS2 & BTEC dance set studies.
» Delivers inset/staff training for KS1 & KS2 Dance delivery to primary school teachers.
» Runs all CPD dance sessions for primary & senior special schools.
» Choreographs & trains Unit dance crew alongside the crew members.

Qualifications

» Qualified Zumba instructor
» I.D.T.A Associate & Licentiate Degree in delivery of street dance gaining honours (95%).
Qualification includes anatomy, physiology & mechanics of the human body
» Highly commended & honours for ISTD dance examinations from primary to advanced (in Ballet, Tap, Modern & Jazz)
» BTEC Dance: distinctions in composition & choreography, performance technique & set studies.
» City & Guilds Level 3 in coaching & delivery of dance
» CACHE level 2 Childcare in Education

» 3 years Dance & Fitness Specialist for the Mountbatten School Sports Partnership (covering 57 Primary & Secondary Schools).
» KS1 & KS2 Dance Delivery in Primary Schools throughout Hampshire.
» BTEC & GCSE Dance in Secondary Schools throughout Hampshire.
» Choreographer & Creative Director of Mountbatten School Rock Challenge (for over 5 years).
» Runs a wide selection of Adult Fitness and Dance Classes in the local community (including Body Attack & Zumba).

Rachel McDowell

Qualifications

» Graduated from Chichester University in 2008 with a BA Honours in Dance Studies where she gained a first in all teaching modules and developed her passion for Community Dance.
» Post Graduate Certificate in Dance in the Community (PGCDC) from Laban Conservatoire of Dance and Music, London.

Experience

» Working with young people and adults with learning difficulties.
» Youth Dance Leader Choreographer with Katie Greens Dance Company.
» Freelance dance practitioner for Activate Performing Arts in Dorset.
» Creative Director & Choreographer of youth dance group Fuse.
» Choreographs yearly Rock Challenge performances for various schools.

Training

» Social inclusion course with Dance United.
» Technique Workshops with Jasmine Vardimons Dance Company and CandoCo Dance Company.

Responsibilities at Bustagroove

» Teaching CPD dance within various primary schools across Hampshire. Running weekly classes & workshops for Bustagroove Dance.
» Rachel is a member of Contrast Dance Company.
She believes in order to teach a high level of quality dance it is essential she maintains and develops her own technique as well as her performance skills.

Harry Andreou

Qualifications

» Eastleigh College B-Tech National Diploma in Performing Arts achieving:
Distinction Distinction Distinction.
Modules included :- Choreography, Dance Performance, Dance Improvisation, Contemporary and Jazz Dance.
» GCSE in Traditional Greek Dancing.
» Youngest Black belt in Taekwondo 1997.

Experience

» Attended various Pineapple Dance Studio Dance workshops.
» Choreographs yearly Rock Challenge performances for various schools.
» Teaching Assistant to special needs dance classes at The Point Eastleigh.

History

» Since the age of 17 Harry has been assisting in choreographing various school shows in Hampshire
» At the age of 19 he became sole choreographer for a school in Eastleigh.
» In 2009 he moved to a school in Portsmouth where he has choreographed numerous school shows and teaches Street
Dance/Contemporary Dance to years 7 – 9 and assists in GSCE Dance and the BTech Performing Arts course for years 10 – 11.

» Harry is a member of Contrast Dance Company.

Ramine Tinati

History

» Trained in gymnastics from a young age which led him to progress to power breaking.
» Has studied techniques and trained to break for over 4 years.
» President of Southampton University Breakdance Society for 1 year.
» Founding member and director of the University of Southampton’s Breakdance crew ‘sub crew’.
» Involved with Pure Dance for 3 years (choreography & performance).

Responsibilities at Bustagroove

» Leads all Bustagroove breakdance classes delivering breaking technique to ages 5+.
